Embassy of India, Tokyo, celebrated the 74th Republic Day of India with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm with participation from members of the Indian community and friends of India. H.E Ambassador Sibi George hoisted the national flag and read the Hon’ble Rashtrapatiji’s address to the nation.
Our Chief Sewa Officer, Ashutosh Sensei & Sachi San attended the program, & they awarded by Ambassador sir Sibi George with certificate and a book. It was great initiative by the Embassy of India to promote Indian culture by organizing regular quiz on various topics.
Ashutosh Sensei and Sachi san were felicitated by HE Sh Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan , at the Republic Day function held at the Embassy of India Tokyo on January 26,2023. The winners were awarded a certificate and various interesting books about India.
The event was very well organized and it give us opportunity to meet our Indian friends and feel like a home away from home.
Also, The Embassy ( Vivekananda Cultural Centre ) sponsored an quiz, that was a good opportunity for all to learn more about India. Our team had really great time there at Embassy of India Tokyo.
