Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend)
Pashchimottanasana aka Paschimottasana / Seated Forward Bend is a classic Hatha yoga pose. It stretches the entire back of your body, from your calves to your hamstrings (the back of your thighs) to your spine.
How To Do Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend)
Step 1
Sit on the floor with legs stretched out in front of you
Step 2
Extend your arms upward and keep your spine erect
Step 3
Bend forward and place your upper body on your lower body while exhaling
Step 4
Lower your arms and grip your big toes with your fingers. Try to touch your knees with your nose
Hold the posture for 10 seconds and come back to the original position slowly

Cautions of Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend)
- If you have arms, hips, ankles, or shoulders injury, then avoid this pose. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself in this pose. If you’re too tight to bend much, just do what you can without hurting yourself. Please don`t do this pose immediately after food.
