Yoga is not a trend of physical exercise. Yogic practices are based on Traditional Indian text called Patanjali Yoga Sutra (PYS) which is the pillar of Yoga.

There are eight limbs in PYS which are Yama(restraints), Niyama(observations), Āsana (posture), Prāṇāyāma (breath regulation), Pratyāhāra (withdraw senses), Dhāraṇā (concentration), Dhyāna (meditation) and Samādhi (being constant).

We will learn those limbs within coming Interactive Sessions.

We are learning the first two limbs of Patanjali Yoga Sutra, which are Yama (restraints) and Niyama (observations).

Yama has five elements such as non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, celibacy, and non-possession. Niyama also has five elements such as cleanliness, contentment, asceticism, self-study, devotion towards Īshvara.

These are considered as pre-requisites for further Yoga practice. Let’s learn together the first step of Yoga Practices.
