Easy Yoga & Pranayams For Thyroid – 100% Effective Instantly

The problem of Thyroid is rapidly increasing these days. However, women are more susceptible to thyroid disease than men. Thyroid disease occurs when the thyroid gland produces insufficient or excessive amounts of certain crucial hormones. As a result, the person either gains weight or becomes extremely skinny. Thyroid disease is classified into two types: hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.

Thyroid disorders are quite common in people all across the world. The thyroid is a small gland in the throat which secretes hormones. Hormones secreted by the thyroid gland are responsible for the body’s metabolism, temperature and growth.

These yoga poses can help in strengthening muscles and also reducing effects of hypothyroidism on the body. People suffering from hyperthyroidism should avoid neck-stretching asanas. They should opt for breathing exercises like pranayama.

Yogasana to get rid of thyroid

  1. Surya Namaskar- Everyone should do Surya Namaskar. This keeps the body full of energy. With this, the thyroid can also be overcome.
  2. Kapalbhati- This increases the immunity of the body. With this, toxic substances are released from the body. Do this 10-15 minutes daily.
  3. Ujjayi – Do this yogasana 7 to 11 times daily.
  4. Singhasana- Singhasana is very effective in eradicating thyroid. Do this yogasana 7 to 11 times daily.
  5. Sarvangasana – Do this for 5 minutes. By doing this asana, the mind becomes calm and you get peace of mind. It is also beneficial in relieving thyroid.
  6. Halasana – After doing Sarvangasana, do this Yogasan for 2-3 minutes. It makes the waist and spine stronger. It also helps in eradicating thyroid.

Yoga asanas are considered to be an effective natural remedy for dealing with thyroid disorders. While it may not be able to cure the condition instantly, it can help in keeping the glands healthy and regulate metabolism, thereby preventing any further complications. A study stated that 6 months of intense yoga helped women with hypothyroidism and reduced their need for thyroxine medication.
